2022 Scholarship Application
Application Overview
The Mattituck-Cutchogue PTSA is accepting scholarship applications from graduating high school
seniors through May 3, 2022.
The applicant must embody the ideals of the PTSA through demonstration of service to school and
community, character, achievement, and leadership (modeling exemplary behavior for other students).
The scholarship may be used for any post-secondary education chosen by the selected recipient.
Requirements
– PTSA membership is required – must be a member by April 15, 2022.
– Complete PTSA scholarship application.
– Attach resume (only include activities complete during tenure in high school).
– Prepare and attach a one-page typed essay, double spaced, font size 12.
Essay Requirement:
The PTSA is looking for a depth of commitment to the things that have been important to you
during your high school years. Pick two significant activities that you have participated in and
tell us how they demonstrate the ideals of the PTSA. You may include activities outside of
school such as work, community service, sports, or other extra-curricular endeavors. Be specific.
